We are looking for a passionate and driven Fundraiser Legacies and Special Donations. In this role, you will play a crucial role in the future of our organisation by ensuring that our missions and projects can continue to grow.
As a fundraiser, you will actively contact our potential donors for legacies and look for ways to bring legacies to the attention of a wider audience. In addition, you are responsible for income from asset funds and from special donors.
Your contribution will be
- Developing and implementing plans for recruiting and retaining legacy donors to maximise future legacy income
- Seeking and approaching potential legacy donors
- Developing propositions and materials to reach the target group
- Building and strengthening relationships with potential legacies and their advisors, such as notaries and financial planners
- Maintaining and strengthening the involvement of special donors and funds
- Submitting new fund applications through targeted proposals
- Ensuring the recruitment and relationship management of special donors
- Contributing to optimising the involvement and experience of all private donors
- Maintaining and managing the KPI’s, budgets and estimates of legacies, asset funds and special donors
Your profile ideally illustrates
- Several years of experience in a similar position
- Willing to gain knowledge of legislation, fiscal and legal aspects of legacies and special gifts
- Strong communication skills, patience, integrity and the ability to build trust with donors and stakeholders
- A result-driven approach
- Outgoing, takes initiative and always looking for opportunities
- Excellent command of Dutch and English, spoken and written
- Passion for animal welfare and FOUR PAWS vision and mission
